If you are based in or around London and are interested in commissioning me then do get in touch. I'm also happy to explore possibilities less local. There is no charge for an initial consultation but if both parties decide we have a match and will take things forward then further consultation will be factored into the pricing at £25 per hour. This may include site visits, sketches and presentation of ideas (if required), emails and any other communications regarding the work.
The following prices are a guide but I can be flexible with sizes/dimensions so that the desired format and composition can be attained. A quote for the painting is given when size, subject and composition are decided upon.
One session (one day) from life:
25/30cm up to 30/40 - £350
Larger than 30/40cm - £400
Additional sessions whether in the studio or on location - £300 per session
Half session (half day) - £150

Paintings larger than 40/50cm (or equivalent size) may require more than one session. The number of sessions required is decided during the consultation phase but it may be the case that half a session is factored in where (for example) a small amount of work is required to complete, or even start a picture.
There will additional charges for preparation (if required) which might be: stretching of canvases, purchasing of art materials, packing and delivery of artworks. I will charge £25 per hour.
30% of the costs quoted will need to be paid up front on agreement. If for any reason I go over time with the Commission I will not increase my costs.
